OhioHealth recognized by U.S. News and World Report

Three OhioHealth hospitals – Grant Medical Center, Riverside Methodist Hospital and Doctors Hospital – have been recognized for high performing specialties and have also been ranked among the Best Regional Hospitals in the state and at the metro level by U.S. News and World Report for 2013-2014.
U.S. News ranks the nation’s top 50 hospitals based on performance in 16 adult specialties. It also recognizes other high-performing hospitals that provide care at nearly the level of their nationally-ranked peers. Hospitals scoring within the top 25 percent of the range in a given specialty are recognized as “high performing.” Both Grant and Riverside Methodist were recognized as “high performing” in nine specialties; Doctors Hospital was recognized in one specialty. Grant was recognized in Diabetes & Endocrinology; Ear, Nose & Throat; Gastroenterology & GI Surgery; Geriatrics; Nephrology; Neurology & Neurosurgery; Orthopedics; Pulmonology and Urology. These specialty rankings further recognize Grant, Riverside Methodist and Doctors Hospital among the Best Regional Hospitals within the state and metro area.
