November 15 – 16, 2010: Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)

This two-day class is designed to present the core elements of a comprehensive, systematic and multi-component crisis intervention curriculum. It will also prepare participants to understand a wide range of crisis intervention services. Fundamentals of CISM will be outlined and participants will leave with the knowledge and tools to provide several group crisis interventions, specifically demobilizations, defusings and the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). The need for appropriate follow-up services and referrals when necessary will also be discussed.

Admission is $25.00. Make checks payable to Norwich Township.

Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Seating is limited to 20 participants.

This class will be offered at the Norwich Township Fire Department Headquarters, located at 5181 Northwest Parkway, Hilliard, OH 43026.

Registration begins at 7:30AM.

The class is 8:00AM until 5:00PM.
