Violence Prevention Training
Escaping Violent Encounters for EMS and Fire is a highly participatory 2-day Escaping Violent Encounters for EMS and Fire is a two-day course designed to educate EMS and Fire personnel on the differences between a patient and an attacker. Learn tactics in assault prevention and de-escalation. In addition to hands-on training, you will learn liability-conscious techniques for defense and escape.
This must needed educational offering is being presented to you by Kelly Austin, VP-Training and Senior Risk Manager of KLA Consulting and OhioHealth EMS.
Classes are scheduled for October 8-9, 2015 at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital and November 2-3, 2015 at OhioHealth Grady Memorial Hospital.
Class size is limited to twelve participants. Early registration is encouraged.
