The John P. Moore Memorial EMS Award for Excellence
This award is presented annually to an Emergency Medical Responder, (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) or Paramedic (PM) working in central, southern or southeastern Ohio. The honored individual’s character, as demonstrated through their actions as an EMS advocate, educator, leader, mentor or provider, has affected the lives of others by creating a positive and long-lasting impact in the provision of emergency medical services.

 

The Franklin County Firefighters/OhioHealth Grant Medical Center EMS Education Alumni Breakfast
Graduates, Students, Faculty and Staff of the Franklin County Firefighters/OhioHealth Grant Medical Center EMS Education EMT and Paramedic Schools are invited to attend a private breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. during The Ohio EMS Conference on May 19, 2014 at the Great Columbus Convention Center.  The alumni breakfast celebrates the successes of our program and its people. The tie between our students — those past, present and future — forms a solid foundation that contributes to an environment of professionalism, camaraderie, and lifelong learning among EMS professionals throughout the region. Come network with others, enjoy a great breakfast and help celebrate this year’s Excellence in EMS Education Award recipient.

 

The Ohio EMS Leadership Forum
Chiefs, EMS Coordinators, EMS Officers, Training Officers, Preceptors, Medical Directors, and others with an interest in EMS leadership and management are invited to join us from 10:20 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. for The Ohio EMS Leadership Forum. The forum participants will be able to join other attendees at The Ohio EMS Conference opening keynote presentation immediately before the forum and the closing keynote presentation that follows. Participants will have multiple opportunities throughout the day for learning, sharing, open discussion and networking. The forum includes a variety of presentations by the day’s main conference keynote presenters and others.
